For the first time ever, visitors to the National Multicultural Festival will be able to plan their next steps on the go and find their favourite food stalls with the touch of a button thanks to a new mobile app.
The 2017 National Multicultural Festival app, which is available for download on both iOS and Android, will help people get from A to B quickly with real-time navigation, lists the full performance schedule and allows festival goers the chance to create a “My Favourites” list so they will not miss the performances and stalls they most want to see.
The National Multicultural Festival is already Australia’s most loved celebration of culture and diversity, and the introduction of this digital resource will only enhance that experience.
People will now be able to plan their day in advance, ensuring that everybody gets the very most out of their festival experience no matter what they are coming along to enjoy.
Other features of the app, which was developed by Imagine Team Solutions, include:
- Details on all performers and stall holders;
- Easy-to-use search functionality;
- Information on where to find first aid, water fountains and toilet facilities; and
Details of our new sanctuaries.
With the National Multicultural Festival celebrating its 21st birthday in 2017, this new app will help the people of Canberra and beyond enjoy an even bigger festival.
