Training Products Funding Policy Discussion Paper Released

Skills Canberra has released a discussion paper on the funding of training products.

Skills Canberra has released a discussion paper on the funding of training products. The paper reviews the various training products available in the Australian vocational education and training (VET) system, and provides questions for discussion on the appropriateness of funding these products.

Currently, Skills Canberra funding is almost exclusively targeted at full qualifications at the Certificate III level or above. This work will consider whether there is a role for Skills Canberra funding beyond this area.

As part of this project, Skills Canberra is seeking the views of interested stakeholders on the funding of training products in the ACT. Stakeholders can respond either by completing a survey, or through a face-to-face consultation. The submission period will close Monday 19th December at 5pm.

If you wish to arrange a consultation with Skills Canberra, please contact skills@act.gov.au or call (02) 6205 8555.
