Skilled Capital – Nomination of New Release Qualifications
Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) wishing to enrol students in the new Skilled Capital qualifications from 30 September 2015 must nominate the qualifications in AVETARS prior to enrolment.
On 14 September 2015, the ACT Education and Training Directorate (the Directorate) announced 14 qualifications in which places would be opened for Skilled Capital funding.
New places will be opened 9:00am 30 September 2015, and will remain open until either all places are filled or until the end of 2015. If RTOs wish to have their information updated on the Skilled Capital website by 30 September 2015, they must ensure they have nominated Skilled Capital qualifications in AVETARS by COB 25 September 2015.
For information on how to nominate a qualification for funding under the Skilled Capital program please refer to the Skilled Capital AVETARS User Manual.
As part of their nomination, RTOs need to submit a tuition fee per qualification. RTOs must ensure these fees are above the minimum tuition fee per qualification.
Please note: the Directorate has revised the minimum tuition fees previously published for the September release. The qualifications as part of the September Release for Skilled Capital and their corresponding minimum tuition fees can be found on the 'Skilled Capital Qualification List - September 2015' available on the Skilled Capital webpage.
The three qualifications previously not on the qualification register as part of the new Skilled Capital Release; Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start), Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways can now be nominated by RTOs as part of Skilled Capital.
RTOs must have scope as per training.gov.au to nominate qualifications on AVETARs.
