New ACT Employment Service Providers (ESPs) announced

The Australian Government Department of Employment and Training is introducing jobactive, a new employment service on 1 July 2015. Jobactive is designed to meet the needs of job seekers and employers, and to improve job outcomes.

The employment service providers delivering ACT based jobactive services from 2015-20 include:

Employment providers

  • Employment Services Group
  • MAX Employment
  • MBC Employment Services
  • The Salvation Army Employment Plus

Work for the Dole (WfD) providers

  • MAX Employment

New Enterprise Initiative Scheme (NEIS) providers

  • Holmesglen Institute
  • SETS-South East Training Services

The current Job Services Australia contracts expire on 30 June 2015. Under jobactive, Work for the Dole Coordinators will start on 1 May 2015 and other services will start on 1 July 2015 and operate for five years.
