David Miller Appointed Director of Training and Tertiary Education

The ACT Education and Training Directorate (the Directorate) is pleased to announce that Mr David Miller has been appointed Director of the Training and Tertiary Education (TaTE) branch.

Mr Miller joined TaTE in August 2012 and has been in the TaTE Senior Manager role since July 2013.

Mr Miller has been responsible for overseeing many of the key strategic planning and operational activities across the TaTE branch at both a local and national level.

Mr Miller’s ongoing commitment to the public service and the vital role vocational and education training (VET) plays in the economic social prosperity of the ACT is recognised across the Directorate.

Mr Miller joined the ACT Public Service after gaining extensive social policy experience in the Victorian Public Service Health and Justice portfolios.

Mr Miller looks forward to continuing his close work with VET stakeholders as we continue to increase access and improve outcomes for the ACT community and economy.
