Skills Canberra Relocation to Civic – Skills Canberra office unavailable during move

Skills Canberra will be relocating to Canberra Nara Centre, 1 Constitution Avenue Canberra from Friday 24 March 2017 – Monday 27 March 2017.

Due to the move, the Skills Canberra office will be unavailable all day Friday 24 March 2017 and all day Monday 27 March 2017. A summary of the services affected is outlined below.

Reception Services/Phone Calls 

All Skills Canberra phones will be offline during the move and no phone calls will be answered during this period. The Skills Canberra reception line (02 6205 8555) will have a voicemail service available for stakeholders to leave a message. If there is an emergency during this time requiring Skills Canberra attention, phone calls can be directed to 0466 514 454.

All contact numbers will remain the same. 

Emails

Mailboxes such as skills@act.gov.au will remain online, however, there is no guarantee that emails will be responded to during the move. The standard 5 business day commitment to respond to emails will continue to apply.

AVETARS

AVETARS availability and functionality will not be affected by the move. However, if you have any enquiries during the moving period, AVETARS support staff will not be available. 

Beyond the period whilst Skills Canberra is moving, it is not anticipated that the relocation will impact on any stakeholders.

Once the move is complete, a news item and email will be sent to all stakeholders advising that Skills Canberra is back online.
