Professional Development Workshop - Unpacking the ACT Quality Framework
Skills Canberra is hosting a professional development workshop on 8 April 2016 for RTOs delivering funded training in the ACT, under an ACT Funding Agreement (ACTFA). This workshop will focus on supporting RTOs with meeting the requirements of the ACT Quality Framework.
About the Workshop
Participants are expected to have a working understanding of these documents and how compliance in their organisation is managed.
Topics to be covered include:
- RTO obligations
- Record keeping and reporting
- Promotion and publications
- Enrolment processes
- Training and assessment
- Student support
Administrative arrangements, including payments or AVETARS related processes, will not be covered in this workshop.
About the Presenter: Rainer Wilton, Barrack St Compliance Co.
Rainer Wilton is the principal consultant of the Barrack St Compliance Co, and works as a VET sector compliance auditor conducting audits for RTOs and regulatory bodies. He is a past member of the NSW Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board's External Auditor Panel and TVET Australia's National Audit and Registration Agency's Auditor and Quality Consultant panels. Rainer has worked for regulatory bodies, skills councils, industry training advisory bodies, and RTO, on a range of research and VET sector and training package projects.
Rainer holds a range of qualifications including a Bachelor of Science (Major - Human Resource Management), Master of Business (Majors in Organisational Development and Entrepreneurship), an ISO 9000:2000 series auditor / lead auditor certification, and auditor and training and assessment qualifications for the Business Services Training Package.
