REMINDER: ACT Funding Agreement Expiry

The ACT Funding Agreement (ACTFA) Version 2.0 expires 30 June 2017.

The due date for all current ACTFA holders to accept the offer of extension is Friday 9 June 2017.

The ACTFA is the contractual arrangement between the ACT Government and registered training organisations (RTOs) to deliver programs to address the major objectives of the ACT vocational education and training (VET) system.

All RTOs with a current ACTFA were emailed an offer of extension and a new Deed (ACTFA Version 2.1) on Tuesday, 16 May 2017. This email was sent to the RTO Chief Executive Officer and where applicable, the ACTFA contact.

The instructions for accepting the ACTFA extension are detailed in the letter of offer. In particular, please ensure all relevant sections of Schedule 1 are completed and the signed Deed is returned by 5pm on Friday 9 June 2017.

If the offer of extension is not accepted by the due date then your organisation will be removed from the ACT Qualifications Register with effect from 1 July 2017 and will no longer be able to access ACT funded training initiatives.

Please disregard this message if your RTO has already signed and returned ACTFA Version 2.1.

Please contact Skills Canberra by email to skills@act.gov.au if your RTO holds a current ACTFA and has not received the ACTFA extension email.
