Cabinet (the Government Business Subcommittee) agreed the Minister for Transport and City Services make a Ministerial Statement in response to the Assembly Resolution of 21 March 2018. Under the requirements of the ACT Government Cabinet Handbook, no Triple Bottom Line Assessment was required for this item.

Ministerial Statement: USA Delegation and American Planning Association Study Tour

Cabinet (the Government Business Subcommittee) agreed the Minister for Planning and Land Management make a Ministerial Statement and table a report on the USA Delegation and America Planning Association Study tour in the Legislative Assembly. Under the requirements of the ACT Government Cabinet Handbook, no Triple Bottom Line Assessment was required for this item

Courts and Other Justice Amendment Bill 2018 (No 2) – agreement to introduce

Minute number: 18/349/CAB

Cabinet (the Government Business Subcommittee) agreed that the Courts and Other Justice Legislation Amendment Bill 2018 (No 2) be introduced in the Legislative Assembly to give effect to the policy change to increase the retirement age for ACT magistrates. This change will be applied to currently appointed magistrates. The Triple Bottom Line Assessment was considered by Cabinet on 14 June 2018 (18/318/CAB – Government Position on PMB - Hanson - Magistrates Court (Retirement Age of Magistrates) Amendment Bill 2018) as part of the policy approval.

Spring 2018 Legislation Program

Minute number: 18/251/CAB

Cabinet agreed to the Spring 2018 Legislation Program. A Triple Bottom Line Assessment was not required as Triple Bottom Line Assessments will be prepared for each individual legislation proposal.
