Enterprise Bargaining Agreement Negotiations

Minute number: 18/220/CAB

Cabinet agreed to a further offer on pay, superannuation and remaining outstanding issues on the core part of enterprise agreements for ACTPS.

Under the requirements of the ACT Government Cabinet Handbook, no Triple Bottom Line Assessment was required.

Council of Australian Governments: out-of-session items February 2018

Minute number: 18/121/CAB

Cabinet agreed to note a number of COAG out-of-session items, including that the Chief Minister has signed the PFAS Intergovernmental Agreement. Cabinet also noted that the Chief Minister signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement between the Northern Territory and the ACT in the margins of the 9 February 2018 COAG Meeting.

National Partnership Agreement on Universal Access to Early Childhood Education – 2018

Minute number: 18/085/CAB

Cabinet agreed to the extension of the existing National Partnership Agreement on Universal Access to Early Childhood Education (NP UAECE) for 2018. The Commonwealth Government will provide a financial contribution of $9 million to the ACT for service delivery from 1 January 2018 to 31 December 2018 to facilitate children’s early learning and development by maintaining universal access to, and improving participation in, affordable, quality early childhood education programs for all children.

Ministerial Statement: The ACT Prevention of Violence against Women and Children Strategy 2011-2017 - 2nd Implementation Plan

Cabinet (Government Business Subcommittee) agreed the Minister for the Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence make a Ministerial Statement in the Legislative Assembly on the 2nd Implementation Plan 2015-2017 of the ACT Prevention of Violence against Women and Children Strategy 2011-2017.

Under the requirements of the ACT Government Cabinet Handbook, no Triple Bottom Line Assessment was required.

Ministerial Statement: Update on recommendations 11 and 12, Standing Committee on Justice and Community Safety Inquiry into Annual and Financial Reports 2015-16

Medicines Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Amendment Bill 2018

Cabinet agreed the Minister for Health and Wellbeing present the Medicines, Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Amendment Bill in the ACT Legislative Assembly.

The Triple Bottom Line Assessment was considered by Cabinet on 6 December 2017 (17/425/CAB – Introduction of a Prescription Monitoring Program – policy approval) as part of the policy approval and is available here.
