ACT Government Response to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse

Cabinet agreed to the release of the ACT Government Response to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse in June 2018. Cabinet further agreed a Bill be drafted that will require institutions to nominate a proper defendant that is capable of being sued to meet claims of institutional child sexual abuse (Proper Defendants legislation) and to consult with key stakeholders on legislation.

ACT Housing Strategy – Key Initiatives
