Have your say on the priorities for the 2017-18 ACT Budget

Released 15/11/2016

The annual Budget consultation is an important opportunity for the community to have their say on Government funding priorities in 2017-18 and in the future. As part of this process, we are keen to hear from all Canberrans, on what services are most important to them.

The ACT Government set out its agenda during the 2016 election process and will focus on delivering its commitments in the 2017-18 Budget. Some of these include greater investment in education, more affordable housing options, and better health services including three new nurse-led walk in centres and the expansion of The Canberra Hospital.

The government will continue the work on driving economic growth, making Canberra an even stronger, more prosperous city, delivering a better future for all Canberrans.

Taking part in the 2017-18 Budget consultation process is quick and easy through the ACT Government Your Say website. The closing date for submissions is Thursday, 22 December 2016
