Resurfacing work on Tuggeranong Parkway postponed till next week

The ACT Government wishes to advise motorists and other road users that resurfacing works on the Tuggeranong Parkway planned for tonight, Monday 15 February 2016 and tomorrow night, Tuesday 16 February 2016 have been postponed.

Southbound lanes of the Tuggeranong Parkway will now be affected on Sunday 21 February and Monday 22 February 2016.

The works will be conducted along a southbound section of the Tuggeranong Parkway near the National Arboretum at Lady Denman Drive to the Molonglo River bridge.

During the works one southbound lane will remain open to traffic however, for brief periods, both southbound lanes will be temporary closed to allow for work vehicle access in and out of the traffic.

Works are expected to be carried out at the following times, weather permitting:

  • 3 pm Sunday 21 February 2016 till 5 am Monday 22 February 2016
  • 7 pm Monday 22 February 2016 till 5 am Tuesday 23 February 2016

Barriers and diversion signs will be erected to alert traffic.

Delays are expected and motorists are encouraged to seek alternative routes.
The ACT Government apologies for any inconvenience these works may cause.
