Resurfacing work commences tomorrow on Tuggeranong Parkway

The ACT Government wishes to advise motorists and other road users of lane closures on the southbound lanes of Tuggeranong Parkway from tomorrow, Saturday 13 February till Wednesday 17 February 2016.

These closures are to allow for resurfacing works.

The works will be conducted along a southbound section of the Tuggeranong Parkway near the National Arboretum at Lady Denman Drive to the Molonglo River bridge.

During the works one southbound lane will remain open to traffic however, for brief periods, both southbound lanes will be temporary closed to allow for work vehicles access in and out of the traffic.

Works are expected to be carried out at the following times, weather permitting:

  • 8 am till 5 pm Saturday, 13 February 2016
  • 6 pm Sunday 14 February 2016 till 5 am Monday 15 February 2016
  • 7 pm Monday 15 February 2016 till 5 am Tuesday 16 February 2016
  • 7 pm Tuesday 16 February 2016 till 5 am Wednesday 17 February 2016.

Barriers and diversion signs will be erected to alert traffic.

Delays are expected and motorists are encouraged to seek alternative routes.
The ACT Government apologies for any inconvenience these works may cause.
