Reminder: resurfacing work on Tuggeranong Parkway commences Sunday

The ACT Government wishes to advise motorists and other road users of lane closures on the southbound lanes of Tuggeranong Parkway from Sunday 21 February 2016 until Tuesday 23 February 2016.

These closures are to allow for resurfacing works.

The works will be conducted along a southbound section of the Tuggeranong Parkway near the National Arboretum at Lady Denman Drive to the Molonglo River bridge.

During the works one southbound lane will remain open to traffic however, for brief periods, both southbound lanes will be temporary closed to allow for work vehicle access in and out of the traffic.

Works are expected to be carried out at the following times, weather permitting:

  • 3 pm Sunday 21 February 2016 till 5 am Monday 22 February 2016
  • 7 pm Monday 22 February 2016 till 5 am Tuesday 23 February 2016

While it is expected that works will be completed over two nights, there is always potential for works to carry on into subsequent nights.

Barriers and diversion signs will be erected to alert traffic.

Delays are expected and motorists are encouraged to seek alternative routes.

The ACT Government apologies for any inconvenience these works may cause.
