Temporary road closure on Dryandra Street

Released 23/02/2016

The ACT Government wishes to advise motorists and other road users of temporary closures in O’Connor and Turner starting tomorrow evening (Wednesday 24 February 2016). This work is to allow for asphalt resurfacing of the roundabout at Dryandra Street and Fairfax Street.

Dryandra Street will be closed in both directions from Frith Road to Scrivener Street nightly from 7 pm to 5 am on Wednesday 24 February and Thursday 25 February 2016, weather permitting.

Access for east and west bound traffic along Fairfax Street will be maintained during the work. Barriers as well as warning and diversion signs will be erected to alert people to the closure. Provisions have been made to allow access for local traffic. Residents have been informed of the upcoming works via letterbox drop.

This work is part of the ACT Government’s scheduled resurfacing to ensure Canberra’s roads are safe for motorists and other road users. Daily updates on the resealing program are available on the TAMS website.
The ACT Government apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
