Crime exposed in the library

Released 28/09/2012

The Queen of crime, Gabrielle Lord, will visit Civic Library on Thursday 4 October 2012 to chat with budding authors and crime fiction enthusiasts.

"Adults and children aged 10 and over can enjoy their lunch while they chat with Gabrielle about her life and love of books," said Vanessa Little, Director, Libraries ACT.

"Gabrielle has written numerous books for adults and young adults, including Death By Beauty, Lethal Factor and the popular Conspiracy 365 series.

"Conspiracy 365 is a 12 volume series about Callum Ormond, a boy who must live his life on the run if he wants to survive the next 365 days.

"This gripping series will keep you on the edge of your seat, as you go on the journey with Callum knowing that any second could be his last.

"I encourage Canberrans to come along and meet with Gabrielle, and think of some creative questions to ask her. Some of her books will be available for purchase and signing on the day."

Bookings are required, so to reserve a seat visit www.library.act.gov.au or call 6205 9000.
