Secure your spot at the 2018 National Multicultural Festival

Released 04/09/2017

Stallholder applications are now open for one of Canberra’s biggest parties – the 2018 National Multicultural Festival.

Next year’s festival runs from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 February 2018 and will no doubt continue to be a favourite event of the Canberra community.

Over 22 years Canberra’s annual National Multicultural Festival has become recognised as Australia’s biggest celebrations of cultural diversity.

The festival generates millions of dollars annually for the ACT economy and is increasingly a tourism drawcard.

Stallholder applications close on 30 September 2017, and late applications will not be considered.

Stallholders can apply for a stall as a commercial provider, not-for-profit community organisation or diplomatic mission.

I'd also take this opportunity to remind community and cultural groups that applications for entertainers are still open at: https://dhcs.smartygrants.com.au/NMF2018-EntertainmentApplication.

The organising team is happy to discuss any ideas you have to ensure your involvement in the festival is a success.

For more information on being a stallholder, or an entertainer, contact the team on 6207 8698 or via email at NMFStallholders@act.gov.au.
