Minister for Veterans and Seniors, Gordon Ramsay today announced the newly appointed Veterans Employment Executive Champions, as part of the Government’s commitment to supporting the transition of veterans into employment in the ACT Public Service (ACTPS).

“The six appointed Veterans Employment Executive Champions represent the presence of veterans in the ACTPS, and demonstrate how a range of valuable skills and experience gained in our Defence Forces can be transferred to the public service,” Minister Ramsay said.

“Our Champions have a combined almost 30 years of experience in the ACTPS with their lengths of service varying between 8 months and 13 years. They also have a combined military service of nearly 140 years.

“Our Champions will help drive the ACT Government’s Veterans Employment Strategy, which actively supports veterans to transition into civilian life and employment in the ACTPS.
