Upgrade works at Woods Reserve campgrounds

Released 15/07/2016

The ACT Government will be conducting maintenance and upgrade works at the Woods Reserve campgrounds off Corin Road next week to ensure the site continues to be kept to its current high standard.

These works will include a tree removal program to improve safety in the area as well as general maintenance, such as clearing and pruning, and minor upgrades to individual campsites.

To allow these works to take place it will be necessary to close Woods Reserve.

The works will take place from 7.30 am on Monday 18 July 2016 to 3 pm on Friday 22 July 2016, weather permitting. There will be no access to the campground and facilities during this period.

Members of the community looking to enjoy the great outdoors are encouraged to make use of one of our other great campsites including Honeysuckle Creek campground, Orroral campground or Cotter campground. For more information on this closure and other campsites in the region visit  www.environment.act.gov.au or call Access Canberra on 13 22 81.
