The ACT Government would like to advise road users of temporary road closures for night works to allow asphalt improvement works at the Yamba Drive / Mawson Drive intersection to be undertaken.
The following roads will be closed nightly from 8 pm to 6 am from Wednesday 11 April 2018 to Friday 13 April 2018 (weather permitting):
- Yamba Drive northbound between Beasley Street and Numeralla Street
- Mawson Drive in both directions from 10 Mawson Drive to Yamba Drive.
Detours
During the closures motorists will be directed to alternative routes along Mawson Drive, Ainsworth Street and Colbeck Street. Access will be maintained for local traffic at all times and there will be no impact to bus services.
Roadside signage will be in place to alert motorists to the work and traffic controllers will be on site to assist motorists and pedestrians as necessary.
