The ACT Government is encouraging members of the public to Register to Ride with Transport Canberra to attend the upcoming ANZAC Day Ceremonies on Tuesday 25 April 2017.

“It is free to Register to Ride and it will allow Transport Canberra to monitor expected attendance numbers,” Director, Public Transport Operations, Ian McGlinn, said.

“The system allows Transport Canberra to ensure buses are available for our passengers where and when they’re needed. Passengers can book online via the Transport Canberra website.

“Free services to the Dawn Service will depart from the Gungahlin, Westfield Belconnen, Woden and Tuggeranong bus station. Alternatively park your car and catch a loop shuttle bus that will operate from Majura Park Shopping Centre, Russell Offices, Canberra Centre (Ballumbir Street) and the City Bus Station.

“Shuttles for the National Ceremony will operate from Majura Park Shopping Centre, Russell Offices and the Canberra Centre.

“Passengers will need to Register to Ride for the both the Dawn Service and the National Ceremony. Free return services will depart 20 minutes after both services.”
