The ACT Government wishes to advise motorists and other road users to exercise caution on roads, particularly rural roads, unsealed roads and stream crossings today with wet weather continuing. Large volumes of water has already been reported in some areas around Mitchell.
The following rural road closures are in place:
- Angle Crossing
- Sunshine Crossing
- Southern entrance to Googong Foreshore at London Bridge.
All ACT Government sportsgrounds are also closed until further notice.
The public are asked to check TCCS twitter or the website for more information. Further information on closures on roads and crossings will be issued as it becomes available. Signage will be erected to advise motorists of conditions in certain areas if required.
For your own safety please obey all directions from traffic management staff and signage.
