Canberrans are encouraged take advantage of free buses to the Raiders’ final home game of the season at GIO Stadium this Sunday to avoid the hassles of traffic and parking at the ground.

Free chartered ACTION buses will depart regularly from major bus stations taking passengers to and from the stadium. Free return services will commence approximately 20 minutes after the game.

ACTION’s Blue Rapid services also provide a great option to travel to the game providing service to 
Haydon Drive, within walking distance of the stadium. Normal fares apply.

Chartered ACTION services to GIO Stadium are as follows:

  • buses depart from Tuggeranong, Woden and the City bus stations regularly
    from 12.40 pm
  • buses depart regularly from Gungahlin Bus Station at 12 noon and 1.15 pm
  • buses depart from Belconnen Bus stations between 12.30 pm and 1.30 pm.

Football fans attending the game are encouraged to arrive at the stadium early or take advantage of the free buses with heavy traffic expected around the stadium area once gates open.
