The ACT Government is advising motorists and other road users of the temporary closure of Oaks Estate Road on Thursday 20 October 2016, weather depending.
Recent wet weather caused some damage to the road surface around Oaks Estate Crossing, which required repairs to be conducted. Line markings now need to be reinstated on the repaired section of road.
Oaks Estate Road will be closed between Pialligo Avenue and Railway Street. The closures will occur in the off peak period, between 10 am and 12 noon, to reduce the effects on traffic. Motorists should seek an alternate route.
Barriers, warning and diversion signs will be erected to alert people of the closure. We apologise for any inconvenience and will attempt to minimise disruptions over this period. For up-to-date information on road closures call Access Canberra on 13 22 81 or visit www.tccs.act.gov.au
