Information about the legislation and policies that relate to working in the ACT public service, including in relation to employment conditions, attraction and retention, ethics, equity, workplace safety, learning and development and grievances. This site contains policy documents relating to most areas of employment in the ACT public service.

Human Resources processing information, and job vacancies can be accessed from the Shared Services  website.

Information on ACT laws in relation to long service leave, occupational health and safety, dangerous substances (including asbestos and consumer fireworks) and private sector worker’s compensation.

The site also contains useful links to Commonwealth Government webpages as the federal Workplace Relations Act 1996 including the Work Choices amendments cover most industrial relations matters for the ACT private workforce.
