Community Inclusion Board Home

The Community Inclusion Board is a flagship of the ACT Government’s Building Our Community - the Canberra Social Plan, which was released on 3 February 2004.

Threaded through the Social Plan are the core social justice principles of access, equity and participation.

The Social Plan helps meet the challenge of finding new ways to plan, develop, and manage the ACT. The priorities of the Social Plan reflect and emphasise the importance of helping Canberrans in need, so every individual in the Canberra community can reach their potential, make a contribution and share the benefits of the community.

The Community Inclusion Board lies at the heart of keeping the Social Plan relevant to the Canberra community.
