The Convoy of 22 Vehicles

Spectators lined Canberra’s streets to view the Olympic convoy of 22 vehicles pass by. A police pilot vehicle led the convoy, closely followed by vibrant sponsor vehicles Samsung and Lenovo. The convoy also comprised of an ambulance, media truck, security service vehicles, Torchbearer pick-up and drop-off shuttle buses and buses for guests and VIPs.

The Relay Route showcased the national capital passing by national attractions, including the Australian War Memorial and Parliament House

Volunteers were selected to drive eleven of the convoy vehicles.
